Clothing Store

A retail environment where fashion becomes an experience

Retail

A complete interior design for a fashion clothing store in Nablus. The project transforms a raw retail space into a curated shopping environment where the display of garments becomes an experience. Every element — rails, display cases, fitting rooms, lighting — is designed to elevate both the product and the customer's perception of it.

What the Client Needed

  • Create a retail environment that reflects the store's brand identity and attracts its target customer
  • Design a display system that showcases garments clearly without visual clutter
  • Achieve a fitting room experience that is comfortable, spacious, and flattering
  • Maximize display capacity while maintaining wide, comfortable customer circulation
  • Select a material palette that positions the store as premium within its market

The Groundwork

Analysis of successful fashion retail environments consistently identified three critical factors: lighting quality (the most underestimated element in retail), display density (less is almost always more), and the fitting room experience (the closest point to purchase, and the one most stores neglect).

The Idea

"The Stage" — a retail space where every garment is the performer and the store is the set. Clean, well-lit, and spacious enough that each piece is given room to be properly considered.

What We Faced

  • Balancing maximum display capacity with the spacious, uncluttered feel required for a premium experience
  • Designing fitting rooms that feel generous within a compact overall store footprint
  • Specifying lighting that flatters both clothing colors and customers

How We Solved It

  • Used wall-mounted rail systems and central display islands rather than freestanding rails to maximize floor space
  • Dedicated a generous proportion of the footprint to two large fitting rooms with full-height mirrors
  • Selected warm-toned high-CRI track lighting that renders fabric colors accurately and flatters skin tones
