Faber Castell Exhibition

A brand world where creativity takes physical form

Commercial

A brand exhibition and showroom concept for Faber Castell, translating the identity of one of the world's most iconic art supply brands into a rich spatial experience. The project creates a journey through the product range that feels curated and immersive — inviting visitors to explore, interact, and be inspired.

What the Client Needed

  • Create an immersive brand experience that communicates Faber Castell's heritage and creative spirit
  • Design a visitor journey through the product range that feels curated, not overwhelming
  • Provide interactive zones that bring products to life through direct engagement
  • Appeal equally to professional artists and everyday consumers
  • Design for flexibility to accommodate rotating product collections and seasonal displays

The Groundwork

Research into world-class brand showrooms revealed that the most impactful spaces create a narrative arc — a beginning, middle, and end — guiding visitors through an emotional as well as commercial experience. Faber Castell's heritage and product depth provided rich storytelling material.

The Idea

"The World of Color" — an environment that celebrates creativity as a universal human impulse. The exhibition space becomes an extension of the creative act itself: an invitation to see, touch, and be inspired.

What We Faced

  • Designing for an extensive product range without creating visual overwhelm
  • Balancing brand storytelling with commercial product display
  • Creating interactive zones that engage both children and adult professionals

How We Solved It

  • Organized the exhibition into clearly defined chapters, each with its own material and lighting identity
  • Introduced a heritage zone that contextualizes the brand narrative before the commercial journey begins
  • Designed flexible demonstration tables that can be reconfigured for different age groups and product categories
