A complete master bedroom design for a private residential client in Nablus. The brief centered on creating a room that feels like a true retreat from the rest of the home — luxurious without excess, warm without heaviness. The design integrates a dedicated sitting area, custom wardrobe joinery, and a dressing zone within a cohesive spatial narrative.

The Groundwork
Research into luxury residential bedrooms revealed that the most effective master suites succeed not through scale but through material quality and spatial layering. The bedroom should work at multiple times of day — energising in the morning and deeply restful at night — which informed all lighting and material decisions.
The Idea
"The Retreat" — a room that belongs entirely to its occupants. Every element is chosen to deepen the sense of calm and privacy, creating a space that feels removed from the pressures of daily life.
What We Faced
- Integrating a sitting area, dressing zone, and storage within a single bedroom space
- Achieving a layered, hotel-quality feel without a hotel-sized footprint
- Balancing the aesthetic preferences of two people into one unified design
How We Solved It
- Zoned the space using a custom joinery wall that separates sleeping from dressing without physical barriers
- Selected oversized, deeply upholstered furniture pieces that read as luxurious regardless of room size
- Developed a neutral palette with personalised accent choices on each side of the room
